Year of presentation : 1974
Years of manufacture : 1976-1983
Engine : 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled - bore x stroke 76 x 75 mm - total displacement 340.2 cc - compression ratio 10:1 - overhead camshaft, two valves in the cylinder head - wet sump with pump - Dell'Orto PHF 32 AS carburettor - multi-disc wet clutch - 5-speed gearbox - primary drive by gears - secondary drive by chain. This model features the "wide" crankcase which had a larger oil capacity and allowed for the inclusion of a fifth gear.
Chassis : tubular steel frame - Telesco hydraulic front fork - swingarm rear fork with 2 Telesco Hydrobag gas shock absorbers - Brembo dual disc hydraulic front brake Ø 260 mm - Brembo single disc hydraulic rear brake Ø 260 mm - tyres: 3.25 x 18" front - 3.50 x 18" rear. FPS alloy wheels.
Electrical system: The lighting is battery-powered, and the battery is recharged by a MOTOPLAT alternator via a rectifier. The YUASA battery (12V, 12Ah), which is charged by the alternator and rectifier, powers the parking lights (city lights and taillights) and turn signals when the engine is off.
Dimensions: wheelbase 1370 mm - dry weight 134 kg - fuel tank 16 litres.
Performance : 28 hp at 8000 rpm - maximum speed 168 km/h in normal position - fuel consumption 5 litres/100 km.
Colour scheme: Metallic green paint for the mudguard, tank, tail section, and side covers. Chrome for the headlight and black for the frame, swingarm, and chain guard.
Clarification note: An early version existed that only included a front disc brake and did not have alloy wheels. The most well-known version of this model was the green one you can see in the photos. The electrical system was changed to 12 volts instead of the 6 volts used previously in motorcycles. The engine was modified, omitting the desmodromic cylinder head used by the Italians, and replacing the valve springs with reinforced ones to prevent valve bounce at higher RPMs.
