Debenham Sisters
Betty and Nancy Debenham, with their dog, Poncho, were keen motorcyclists. Nancy won a Gold Medal at Brooklands in 1926.
The Debenham Sisters
As with most Motorcycle manufacturers during the initial boom year of 1928, the Royal Enfield factory also produced their "Speedway-special".
In common with many models of that period, the Enfield came with an abundance of strutting.
Dick Tolley won the first grasstrack championship in 1951 with a winning speed of 61.65mph on the 1,600yds Mallory Park circuit on an Enfield/JAP.
