State-of-the-art, avant-garde, novel, revolutionary, innovative, unique and exotic - all have been used to describe the Britten. A handmade motorcycle built in New Zealand by John Britten and his small team of workers.

After several attempts racing and building various bikes John Britten completed his final masterpiece in 1992. Built within one year and ready one week before Daytona, the bike completely dominated the race ahead of the world champion on a factory Ducati, unfortunately Britten was forced to retire with a faulty regulator. The bike has since gone back and won many races, see the Articles section for more information.

Information on performance and specs is available.
