1920 AJS Model D 799cc Combination

AJS-1920-Model-D-Combination-AT-18.jpg
Priced at £21,500. First registered on the 28th of January 1921, this lovely AJS combination was professionally restored in 1982 by Robin James, for the last owner. He used the outfit regularly, even taking it to the Continent (France, Belgium & Holland), with his wife's BSA & six children! The machine was also used for holidays in Scotland many times, as well the Banbury run etc. The sidecar is unique in having a period child/baby seat at the rear, which was a period attachment that came with the sidecar body when he originally obtained it. Comes with an old green cardboard continuation logbook, the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & is MOT exempt. This AJS represents a wonderful opportunity for a perspective purchaser, as bikes like this really do not come up for sale very often
