The A.J.S. 3.49 h.p. Overhead Valve Special Sports Machine, Model M R 6.

The general specification for this machine is as Model M6, except for the following alterations:- specially tuned, fitted with ball bearing main shafts. Two Pistons are supplied - low compression is standard for use with petrol and benzol, high compression for alcohol fuel. Tyres 26 X 2.375, front ribbed, rear studded. Tool Case carried on top of Tank. Close Ratio Gear Box is fitted as standard. Ratios, 5.52. 6.78. 10.38 to l. Rear Wheel fitted with specially Light Hub and Brake Drum. Wheel not Quick Detachable. No Carrier or Front Stand is fitted.
