Motobecane Fours - 500cc & 750cc

Motobécane diversified its production, first by presenting, at the 1929 Paris Motor Show, a four-cylinder side-valve 500 Type T5. This machine had poor performance since it was no faster than single-cylinder motorcycles of similar displacement, and overheated excessively. Only about ten of these were sold.

But Motobécane did not give up: the following year they presented a new, extensively redesigned four-cylinder engine equipped with an overhead camshaft and a displacement of 750 cc, named the "B7." Although it remained in the catalog for two years, it was delivered in small quantities and its development was never truly completed.

3 exceptional prototypes, 4 cylinders (500 with side valves and 750 "overhead" with overhead camshaft) presented in the 1930 catalogue and at the Paris Motor Show the same year.
