SPECIFICATION :

ENGINE. 483 c.c. Single Cylinder: bore and stroke 85.5 x 85 m/m. Aluminium alloy piston. Roller bearing big end.

LUBRICATION. Automatic mechanical pump and auxiliary hand pump

IGNITION. High tension Magneto.

CARBURETTER. Two-lever type

GEAR. Enfield four-speed. Handlebar-controlled clutch and kick-starter.

TRANSMISSION. -Roller chains. Patent Cush Drive in rear hub.

FRAME. Low saddle position. Royal Enfield Front Forks with shock absorbers. Footrests.

SADDLE. Terry or Lycett Spring Seat; long suspension springs.

BRAKES.  Internal expanding, front and rear.

HANDLEBAR. Touring or Sports: adjustable.

TYRES. Dunlop Cord 27 x 2.75 in.

MUDGUARDS. Strong and efficient.

CARRIER. Detachable carrier. By unfastening two nuts, the carrier and inner mudguard are lifted clear of the back wheel and tyre.

STANDS. Front and rear.

TOOLS. Complete set in two pannier bags on carrier.

FINISH. Rest quality Black Enamel. Tank paneled and lined. Bright parts heavily plated.
