I like to ride and restore classic BMW motorcycles from the 1970s. BMW produced three series of bikes during the decade: /5, /6, and /7. Based on the legendary /2 machines of the '60s, these motorcycles are considered the company's first "modern" models: well-mannered, well-engineered, reliable, and fun, with renowned durability and longevity. Riders get over 250,000 miles out of the air-cooled BMW Type 247 engines with care and maintenance.
