Key engine parts are by Summerfield Engineering of Derbyshire, UK and it has a Quaife five-speed gearbox and Hunt brakes. It was raced it in New Zealand and Australia before passing on to four-time World Champion, Hugh Anderson. It was then sold to to US collector, Jim Paqua and was raced there by Matt Dawson. It was purchased by NZ Classic Motorcycles in August 2012 and has since been raced in New Zealand.
The museum formerly at Napier housed an extraordinary collection. It has moved to the home of the World's Fastest Indian.
