1961 Manx Norton McIntosh Replica

This replica of a 1961 Norton Manx 40M 350cc was constructed in 1998 in New Zealand by Steve Pallant using a McIntosh Manx replica frame, forks, oil tank and fasteners along with a Lyta fuel tank.

Key engine parts are by Summerfield Engineering of Derbyshire, UK and it has a Quaife five-speed gearbox and Hunt brakes. It was raced it in New Zealand and Australia before passing on to four-time World Champion, Hugh Anderson. It was then sold to to US collector, Jim Paqua and was raced there by Matt Dawson. It was purchased by NZ Classic Motorcycles in August 2012 and has since been raced in New Zealand.
