This is the Classic CanAm 125 MX-1. It was built in October 1998. This motorcycle is currently being ridden by Jim Atkins in AHRMA vintage MX competition. The bike is not a true restoration. It has many modifications and improvements. The project is throughly documented in the following sections. Use what you can and leave the rest.

Exhaust (modification) 125 CanAm (Qualifier hi-pipe) w/J&R clamp on silencer
Air Box (modification) 125/175 TNT still airbox with 2 stage Unifilter.
Steering head angle (modification) 28 deg. rake fixed w/Timken tapered bearings
Forks Betor/Bombardier 6.5" travel, HD springs, 220cc 20W oil in each leg.
Shocks (modification) Progressive Suspension 13" length w/4.00" wheel travel -- 65lb. springs.
Swingarm (modification) 1974 250 TNT (1.5" longer than stock) w/nylon bushings
Gearing Final drive 13T/56T with RK 520 chain
