1956 Norton Model F DOHC

"The sole example of what was going to be the next step forward in the Manx's development. The DOHC 350cc 5-speed motor was mounted horizontally (as per the Guzzi singles), suspended from a spine frame that also held the oil. All the major engine castings were of Electron. The pannier fuel tank added to the low centre of gravity. It was never raced."

The Sammy Miller Museum is an historically important collection of road and competition motorcycles which focuses on the golden age of the sport in the 1950s and 60s. The collection includes some of the most outstanding machines ever raced, and almost all are in running order. Many have been lovingly restored, and some have been left with their original patina.
