This 1937 CS1 was first registered in Sheffield, Yorkshire, on 5th May, 1937, and had a long succession of Yorkshire owners, many of them in Huddersfield. The machine was extensively restored at some time with the engine and gearbox rebuilt and the petrol and oil tanks repaired and repainted.

It was acquired at auction for the NZ Classic Motorcycles collection in July, 2009 and underwent further restoration during 2012 and 2013.
