Chase Motor Cycles.

The speciality of the Chase Motor Co. is the constructing of a well-designed series of machines, to which practically any type or make of engine maybe fitted, and examples are shown on Stand 103 fitted with 2¾ h.p. and 3½ h.p. M.M.C. engines as well as that beautifully made engine, the 3 h.p. Ariel. The identical machine which Mr. F. W. Chase rode so successfully through the 1,000 miles motor cycle reliability trials is also shown...

Two Types of Motor Bicycles

are shown by the Wearwell Motor Carriage Co. The most powerful of these are fitted with 3¼ h.p. vertical air-cooled engines. Great attention has been paid to the details in the construction of these machines; and the very best of components, so far as carburetters, induction coils, and accumulators are concerned, have been employed. The lesser-powered machines are fitted with 2½ h.p. aircooled engines, which are attached to the frame in an inclined position...

Westfield's Autobike.

This firm have on exhibition six 2¾ h.p. motor bicycles, and also a couple of Trimos of 3½ h.p. and 2¾ h.p. respectively, provided with coach-built front seats. The framework, engines, etc., of all these follow very much recognised and approved designs, but at the same time it is noticeable that the necessity of combining lightness with strength has evidently been kept well to the fore...
