The NSU 301 T motorcycle was one of several touring models introduced by the factory in the late twenties, the others being the 249cc 251T of 1928, the 199cc 201T, and the 1927 500cc 501T. These retained the flat tank of their predecessors but the IOE engines were replaced with sidevalve units and final drive was by chain.
