The LS Jawa

The LS Jawa (Lennart Sigurd) was made in Sweden and used in Ice racing by his brother Jan Sigurd.

The LS was originally a standard DOHC 2 valve ice racing engine, but Lennart Sigurd converted this motor into a SOHC 2 valver.

This machine is now currently on display in a Motorcycle museum in Sweden that has many speedway/iceracing machines featured amongst it.

Many thanks to Ben Ludolphy, who supplied the pictures* from his enormous collection.
