Bewley

Former Cradley Heath rider George Bewley spent a long time developing this machine at his Pershore home, and following tests by Harry Bastable and John Hart at Cradley it was hoped that all the team would use the newly designed machine once testing had been completed.

The machine differed from those of the time being equipped with the following new features:

1: Spring forks with hydraulic two-way damping
2: Hydraulic controlled swinging fork
3: Large diameter main frame tube with swing form pivot fitted in the tube and the frame also serves as the oil tank.

Apologies for the poor quality of this picture, maybe someone out there has a better shot I can use.
