Although 1916 seems an unlikely time to be launching a new range, sources indicate that this is the correct date for the catalogue. Graces Guide states that for 1916, all models were fitted with JAP four-stroke engines - previously they used Precision. In November of 1916 there was a small advertisement in
The Motor Cycle for a JAP twin machine "in perfect condition" from the Dunkley Factory.
