Monet & Goyon Type B 350cc

1927

Monet-Goyon presented their BL 350 at the Paris Salon in 1927. Powered by a Villiers 344cc inline-twin engine, it appeared in their 1929 catalog. Villiers ceased production of the engine the same year.

1928

The Villiers 350 MKVIIIB engine was fitted to the RC4C of 1927. For 1929 the Villiers MK IXB was employed, and this one had a flywheel magneto. This engine is found on type B (1928), type BF (1929), type BS (1930) and type BS2 (1931).

Moteur Villiers, 2 temps, nouveau modèle, à double échappment, culasse aluminium. Volant magnétique fournissant l'allumage. Graissage additionnel par pompe automatique, reservoir d'huile séparé. Nouveau cadre surbaiss´, à réservoir en selle. Genouill´res. Guidon sport surbaissé, ou, sur demande. sport droit, réglables. Fourche avec amortisseurs. Frein de direction. Moyeux acier, axes a broches, écrous-papillons. Deux frein robustes, instantanement réglables. Pneus de 25X3. Echappment par longs tuyaux et silencieux. Livrée sur demande, avec supplemént : Éclairage électrique par alternateur, feu arriére, pile pour éclairage à l'arret.

Villiers 2-stroke engine, new model, with dual exhaust, aluminum cylinder head. Magneto for ignition. Additional lubrication via automatic pump, separate oil reservoir. New low-profile frame with integrated fuel tank. Knee pads. Low-profile sport handlebars, or, upon request, straight sport handlebars, both adjustable. Fork with shock absorbers. Steering damper. Steel hubs, pin axles, wing nuts. Two robust, instantly adjustable brakes. 25x3 tires. Exhaust with long pipes and muffler. Delivered on request, with supplement: Electric lighting by alternator, rear light, battery for lights when stopped.
