Albert Sourdot became French Champion in 1924 on the ZS3.


Types Z, ZC & ZS 172cc 1924-1928

Single-cylinder 2-stroke Villiers engine

Bore x Stroke: 67 x 57.15 mm 7 HP

Separate two-speed gearbox to 1925, then three-speed.

Final drive by belt until 1927 when chain drive was adopted. Magneto ignition. Parallelogram fork, rigid rear.

6.5-litre fuel tank

Tyres: 600x55 (24x2.50) F&R; 600x75 optional.


ZT Villiers 147cc 1929-1930

Bore x Stroke 62 x 55 mm. 3.5 hp @ 3,500 rpm

Detachable cylinder head and automatic lubrication

Two-speed gearbox, final drive by belt.

Same chassis as the ZS2 and ZS3.

ZA2 147cc Villiers 1931

Bore x Stroke 62 x 55 mm - 4.2 hp - petroil lubrication - magneto ignition

Dual fuel tanks beneath seat - Chain drive - Two-speed gearbox - Front suspension with central spring - 600 x 60 tyres - drum brakes F&R.

Options included sports handlebars, longer exhaust pipe and alternator lighting.


ZAS 172cc Villiers 1931

Bore x Stroke: 67 x 57.15 mm - Power: 7 hp - Aluminum cylinder head - petroil lubrication - Chain drive - Separate two-speed gearbox, hand lever control.

Magneto ignition - parallelogram fork with central spring. Frame is the same as fitted to the ZA2.

Seat is integral with fuel tank. 600x60 tyres front & rear. Front brake controlled by hand, rear by foot. Finished in red enamel.

Max speed 100 km/h.


ZD and ZDC 1927-1931

These were marketed as the "D" model and from 1932 onwards as the "DC" Comfort model.[1]

Separate three-speed gearbox on the ZDC

Belt drive to the rear wheel on the ZD, and chain drive on the ZDC. Primary drive by chain on both models.

N.B. 1. There were later "D" models, the 98cc D1, D2 and D3 of 1938-1942.
