Dick Mann's one-off BSA 180 degree dirt track motor fitted in a Trackmaster frame. This motor was built for Mann's 1971 campaign for the Number One plate. The firing pulses were spread out to give better pull out of the corners. It has a 180 degree, roller bearing, nitrided crankshaft driving a close ratio 4 speed box via a Hi-Vo clutch. The gas-flowed head has a lightened valve train with oversized valves breathing through 32mm Amals and extracted by TT pipes, and a unique remote oil pump made by Jim Dour of Megacycle Cams. The machine absolutely sings, and handles a dream.
The bike is finished in TT configuration and autographed by Dick Mann. This unique piece of American racing history was recently sold by the privately owned Allen Motorsports Museum Massachusetts.
